Job Title: Staff Assistant - Full Time 



 


Responsibilities: The incumbent in this position will provide extensive administrative support to manager and/or department.  Will completes a variety of complex analyses, reports, and databases.    Demonstrates excellent customer service demeanor in organizing front office in fast paced environment. Creates complex spreadsheets and other documents.  Represents the department in resolving problems and exchange of information, interpretation of departmental policy and procedures. 
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Associates degree preferred. 2 years office experience. Knowledge of common PC software programs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong  customer service skills.  Must be able to work independently and with a team.   

Other Information:
Full-time 40 hours per week   Monday - Friday  8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location 280 Chestnut St. Springfield, MA
Testing Required - MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel Typing
Grant Funded position
